Join Axpo Solutions AG-s Risk Management Department as a Trading Regulation Manager and step into a dynamic role at the crossroads of energy markets, technology, and regulatory. You-ll shape governance frameworks for algorithmic trading, monitor market activities, and ensure compliance with evolving regulations like Swiss BATE, REMIT II, and MiFID II in a fast-paced trading environment.

What you will do:

• Develop and refine governance frameworks for algorithmic trading.
• Execute and document validations of trading algorithms.
• Monitor and analyze trading activities using advanced surveillance tools to detect unusual patterns.
• Support regulatory reporting processes and coordinate responses to authorities.
• Collaborate with Trading, Risk, and Legal teams to address risk issues and regulatory challenges.
• Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate compliance risks.

What you bring & who you are:

• Degree in financial IT, finance, economics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in banking, commodity trading, risk management, or regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong analytical skills with a solution-driven, proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication skills to master regulatory and technical topics effectively.
• Fluent in English; German is highly desirable, additional European languages are a plus.
