      We are seeking an experienced and dynamic to join our Asset International legal team. This role involves managing all legal aspects of (M&A) and providing legal support throughout the lifecycle of energy flexibility projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in M&A, project development, and construction within the energy sector. This position can be based in

      Your main responsibilities

      • Lead and manage all legal aspects of M&A transactions from the non-binding offer phase through post-merger integration
      • Provide legal advice on structuring M&A deals to minimize risk and optimize value
      • Oversee legal due diligence, synthesize findings, and advise senior management on critical issues
      • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including Share Purchase Agreements and related contracts
      • Provide legal support throughout energy project lifecycles, including development, construction, and operation
      • Draft and negotiate project agreements such as EPCs, O&Ms, and land lease agreements
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate legal considerations into project planning
      • Advise on construction-related claims, disputes, and settlements with contractors and suppliers
      • Develop and maintain standardized contract templates to mitigate legal risks

      Your profile

      • Qualified lawyer in a European jurisdiction with at least 7 years of experience in M&A and project development within the energy sector
      • Strong understanding of energy project development, construction, and associated risks
      • Proven experience in drafting complex legal documents and leading negotiations; Experience in corporate finance and project financing is a plus
      • Proficiency in English and German; knowledge of Italian, Spanish, French, or Finnish is an asset
      • Strong commercial acumen, excellent communication, and negotiation skills
      • Willingness to travel to project locations as necessary (1 or 2 per month)
