      About Our Client

      Our client, an internationally renowned Pharmaceutical company is recruiting. On its behalf we are now looking for a Logistics Coordinator (m/f/d) available immediately for Zurich area, to join an international team for the next 15 months to start immediately.

      Depending on the selected candidate's performance and motivation, the possibility of an extension or a permanent take over.

      Job Description

      The selected candidate manages operations of the regional distribution center to enhance an excellent customer service level, as well as manages the cost of an effective distribution network towards the product portfolio and geographical area, by carrying out the following task area:

      • Manages daily operations of the 3PLs inbound and outbound transport operations
      • Manages regional distribution center replenishment (RDC) / restocking operations
      • Takes care of operational troubleshooting on orders and shipments to/from regional distribution centers in area of responsibility in coordination with plants
      • Supports regular business performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives of 3PLs (regional and local)
      • Monitors monthly KPIs and metrics comments within area of responsibilities
      • Manages daily 3PLs interfaces intermediate document issues
      • Manages stock reconciliation procedures between our client's IT system and 3PLs ERP systems including inventory management activities at 3PLs distribution centers (stock counts, claims,)
      • Manages daily distribution center performance, deviations management and CAPA issues escalation and resolution in coordination with quality
      • Sustains GDP compliance and support internal/external quality audits
      • Reviews invoices from suppliers in scope of dead-on arrival

      The Successful Applicant

      In order to be considered for the role, the selected candidate must have:

      • Successfully completed academic degree in supply chain management
      • At least 3 to 4 years of working experience in distribution and logistics management
      • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry would be an asset
      • Professional user in SAP (MM/SD/FI)
      • Strong communication skills in English (verbally & written) to manage stakeholders across levels & across countries
      • Strong understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes & functions
      • Good understanding of GDP requirements
      • Strong in logistics & transportation processes
      • Very good intercultural skills
