You will be part of our development team, responsible for implementing Solvency II Risk and Internal Model Engines, our in-house developed software, with 350+ users across the Zurich Group's European entities
You will work closely with business analysts, data providers in Group Risk Management, other Group functions, and end-users in various European countries
Maintain and develop the production code as a part of an Agile team using rich existing code-base and documentation
Develop innovative solutions and tools that drive efficiency and streamline processes
Enhance team standards and practices for coding and development
Provide consultancy and cooperate with other team members, solution designers, and business analysts
Provide technical support to the end-users

Your Skills and Experience
As a Junior Software Developer, your skills and experience will ideally include:
Minimal education: University education (bachelor’s degree). Technical university preferred
Proven skills in software development in a programming language (R, Python, C, Java…) is a must-have
Graduate, or 1-3 years of experience in software development
Willingness and desire to work in R
Analytical thinking and critical thinking skills
Effective communication skills and collaborative attitude
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
