• Zurich is currently looking for a Business Audit Intern to work out of our North American Headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois for the summer of 2025
• This intern will work under immediate supervision and perform requested tasks alongside professionals who perform these roles. Generally, this position is part of a summer program with an assigned mentor
• Group Audit Innovation related projects helping to further improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the internal audit function
• Other development opportunities:
• Understand best practices in Internal Audit in a large globally operating Internal Audit practice
• Further develop project management skills
• May have some opportunities to work on data science/data analytics projects using large data sets
• Coordinate the audit team’s internal social media activities

Basic Qualifications:

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, data analytics, statistics, or related field
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program and will be enrolled in the fall of 2025
• Two or more years of college coursework (should be a rising Junior or Senior)
• Be legally eligible to work in the U.S indefinitely
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum cumulative current grade point average of 3.0 (current could mean last semester GPA)
• Strong interest in the insurance industry
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Data Analytics or Data Science related skill sets
• Problem solving skills in customer focused environment
• Experience in a leadership role
• Self-motivated ad able to work independently
