Job Description

• Overseeing financial accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger)
• Preparation and support with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Analyzing and optimizing financial processes in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Assisting with budget and forecast preparation
• Contributing to projects focused on increasing efficiency and process optimization in the finance department
• Collaborating with external auditors, and tax authorities

The Successful Applicant

• Completed commercial training with further education in finance and accounting, preferably with a certified accountant qualification, or a degree in finance
• Several years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards
• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Analytical, structured work style with a high sense of responsibility
• Proficient in ERP systems, ideally SAP, and advanced Excel skills
