Responsibilities:

• Supporting the accounting staff in financial accounting with technical issues, operational support if required
• evaluate and analyse financial data, including budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics. Provide actionable insights to senior management
• prepare comprehensive financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators and trends. Present findings to senior management
• collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage the group budget. Monitor budget adherence and recommend corrective actions
• financial reporting, and other accounting functions to enhance efficiency
• develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines to ensure compliance
• identify and mitigate financial risks by applying company policies and procedures

Qualifications/requirements:

• Qualified as Swiss GAAP FER, further education as CAS Accounting and Controlling or equal is a benefit
• 3-5 years proven experience as an Accountant and Business Controller
• Excellent knowledge of SAP R/3 or S/4
• German as mother language, at least C1 English level (spoken and written), Chinese is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Familiarity with industry-specific accounting practices
