Together, we deliver high-quality tax services and support internal and external stakeholders with thorough and insightful service

What would your role be?

• Monitor, deliver, and report on various withholding and transaction taxes, including Swiss turnover tax, Swiss and foreign withholding tax, and financial transaction taxes (e.g. Spain/Italy/France transaction tax)
• Withholding & Transaction Tax Management:
• Plan, support, and coordinate the annual reporting for AEOI/CRS and FATCA, ensuring accurate and timely compliance
• Oversee the planning, support, and coordination of the annual Qualified Intermediary (QI) and Qualified Securities Dealer (QDD) 871(m) reporting and compliance, including delivering WHT to IRS and conducting data reconciliations
• Qualified Intermediary (QI) & 871(m) Reporting:
• Act as a knowledgeable and reliable representative of the department in bank-wide projects and process enhancement initiatives related to regulatory tax topics
• Drive the continuous improvement of existing processes and services, collaborating closely with IT to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
• Respond to and analyse tax-related inquiries from all areas of the bank, as well as from external clients, providing professional insights and solutions
• Inquiry Processing & Analysis:

What are we looking for?

• A degree in banking & finance, business administration or similar with several years of relevant professional experience
• At least two years of experience in one of the mentioned tax topics above is a must
• A proactive and independent approach to work, with strong organizational skills
• Commitment to high-quality, accurate work, a reliable work ethic, and a “can-do” mindset
• A collaborative team player with effective communication skills
• Proficiency in both German and English
