      About Our Client

      Our client, an internationally renowned Pharmaceutical company is recruiting. On its behalf we are now looking for a Quality Control Engineer (m/f/d) available immediately for Solothurn area, to join an international team until end of May 2025.

      Depending on the selected candidate's performance and motivation, the possibility of an extension or a permanent take over.

      Job Description

      The Quality Control Engineer (m/f/d) will serve as a support function within the Global QC Instrument and Equipment Strategy team, and will be responsible for the following task areas:

      • Oversees harmonization and lifecycle management of QC and MFG analytical equipment and systems across multiple sites.
      • Manages project activities including qualification, validation, decommissioning, and integration with computer systems.
      • Supports system administration during validation and serves as backup administrator after system release for production.
      • Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures across all stakeholders.
      • Prepares and reviews technical documents, manages workload scheduling, and ensures project prioritization, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with key teams (Quality, IT, validation, metrology, vendors).
      • Writes and coordinates review of operational, maintenance, and system administration procedures for QC and MFG equipment.

      The Successful Applicant

      In order to be considered for the role, the selected candidate must have:

      • Successfully completed academic degree
      • Minimum 2-4 years of working experience within a similar role in the pharmaceutical or biotechnological industry.
      • Experience with managing analytical equipment and instruments in GMP Quality Control laboratories.
      • Familiarity with lab applications such as LabWare LIMS, Empower CDS, and vendor-supplied instrument control and data analysis software commonly used in QC laboratories in the pharmaceutical industry.
      • Solid English skills, as well as very good German skills (verbally & written)
      • Ability to develop effective working relationships with internal/external sites and cross-functional project teams.
